Five plans. Each includes builds, deploys, Postgres with backups, domains, workers, cron jobs, autoscaling and metrics. They differ in how much runs, how many people work together, and the support behind it.

Planned: pay by the hour for more.
Billing is not live yet. Once it is, extra instances and databases beyond your plan will be billed by the hour they run. Stop an app (scale it to 0) and it will stop costing anything. These are the planned prices.
| Size | CPU | Memory | Extra instance | Extra database |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| small default | ½ vCPU | 512 MB | about $5 / month | about $7 / month |
| medium | 1 vCPU | 1 GB | about $10 / month | about $14 / month |
| large | 2 vCPU | 2 GB | about $20 / month | about $28 / month |
Billed by the hour
An instance that runs for 10 days costs a third of a month. Monthly prices above assume it runs all month.
Builds are included
Each build runs in its own microVM, separate from your apps, and does not count against your running memory. Build steps are cached, so repeat builds are fast.
No bandwidth surprises
Normal web traffic is included. Deplane is not built for hosting large video or file downloads; use object storage for those.
Every feature, side by side.
Free is available today; Hobby, Pro and Team are set by Deplane on request until billing starts. Dedicated servers, region choice, SAML single sign-on and a private network are on the roadmap.

The fine print, in plain words.
What counts as "memory running"?
The memory of every instance of every app that is running, added together, plus your databases. Two small instances (512 MB each) and one medium instance (1 GB) use 2 GB. Builds do not count. An app scaled to 0 uses nothing.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing that is running stops. The change that would go over the limit is refused with a clear error that says which limit and how to fix it. You can then remove something. A team moved to a smaller plan keeps its apps, members, databases and domains; only new ones over the limit are refused. Backups are the exception: on a plan with a shorter backup window, backups older than the new window, and deleted databases past it, are deleted at the next hourly cleanup. Paid extra capacity is planned, not available yet.
Can I change plans?
Free is available today. Hobby, Pro and Team are not on sale yet; Deplane can set them on request. Email support@deplane.io and tell us which plan you need. When billing starts, you will be able to change plans from the dashboard.
Do you invoice in euros, with VAT?
Prices are shown in US dollars. Billing is not live yet. We plan to offer payment in euros at launch, with VAT invoices that include your company's VAT number.
Can I cap what I spend?
Today nothing is billed, and your plan's limits are a hard cap. A monthly spend cap for when billing starts is planned for 2027.
Are databases backed up?
Yes, continuously. Deplane streams every database's changes as they happen and takes a full copy every night, encrypted per database, with a second copy on a separate backup server. You can restore to any second of your plan's backup window, into a new database, then switch your apps to it: 1 day on Free, 7 days on Hobby, 14 on Pro, 30 on Team and 90 on Enterprise. A deleted database can be restored for the same window. Moving to a plan with a shorter window deletes backups older than the new window, and deleted databases past it, at the next hourly cleanup. How restores work.
What does Free cost?
Nothing, and no card is needed. Free runs 1 app and a small Postgres database (1 GB of memory together); a Redis can take the database's place. The app sleeps after 15 idle minutes and wakes on the next request. Teams that joined during the beta stay on the Beta plan (3 apps, 1.5 GB of memory) until we move them. We tell you before anything is billed, and nothing is charged without a plan you chose.
How do I cancel?
Nothing is billed today, so there is nothing to cancel. When paid plans launch, you will be able to cancel from the dashboard at any time.
Do you offer discounts for startups, education or open source?
Write to sales@deplane.io and tell us about the project. We would rather help a good project grow on Deplane than lose it over a few dollars.
